Fargen Custom Shop Blackbird Overdrive Special Amp

Here is my version of the fantastic sounding Ampeg B-15 flip top. This amp turned out so sweet I am sure we will be building more in the future.

I have been planning to offer a line of bad ass 60’s Marshall clones for a long time and just finally got around to it.

As time goes on the legend of the Howard Dumble / Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier continues to grow. Even those players who know nothing about the real workings or sound of a Dumble tube amp have a gleam in there eye when Dumble Amps are mentioned.

A great customer of mine named Greg S. had e-mailed me few times asking me if the Fargen OLDE 800 could nail Jimi Hendrix type tones. suggested we build a low voltage plexi type clone with the1986 bass circuit as I feel that it has that fat rich tone with single coils and also a brown singing tone when cranked.

This special piece was built for a great customer of mine named Art Smith. He owns three all custom original Benjamin Fargen hand-wired tube guitar amplifiers.
