I just finished a super sweet custom amp for a repeat customer named Doug S. Doug was so blown away with the Fargen Hot Mods he had done on his Egnater rebel 30 that he decided to order a custom amp from Fargen. He dug the sound of the Olde 800 MKII but also wanted the classic vibe and chime of a Vox AC30. So I whipped up a dual channel custom configuration with a classic AC30 on CH1 and the stock Olde 800 MKII on CH2. Both these channels are independent and feed a fixed bias 25 watt 2 x EL34 power amp section. I also added an fx loop for flexibility. Here is a quick and dirty video clip showing what it’s all about. It’s definitely one of my favorite custom amps to leave the shop in a hot British green…the best of Britain with a twist!

I bet that amp sounds just as good without the delay. You do ridiculus things, all your amps sound so excellent. You definetly stand out in an increasingly populated industry. I want this amp…how much?

In 2011 I was fortunate enough to get a Dual British Classic built in September of 2008 (got it used from a GC). It’s the AC30 and Olde 800 MKII. I have it sitting on a 2×12 with Celestion G12H 30′s.
This amp will jump out and hit you in the chest with Classic Rock Tone! My boys (in their early 20′s, but raised on and love classic rock) have a band (Jackshaft) and they play a lot of AC/DC and other classic rock. Their opinion…. “This amp is Sick!!” And that’s the ultimate comment coming from them.
Yes it has that British Marshall tone nailed, and 3 voicing’s with the Decade switch. But it’s more,it’s a Fargen, quality built, hand made, and you will respect and embrace the pure tone this beast delivers!
