Fargen Hot Mods are a system of high quality tube amp upgrades for many production made guitar amplifiers. In case you missed some of the videos we have offered on “You Tube” to show the mods and what they do…here they are in one easy to find location.

Dear Ben,
Sorry for the delay with my reply on your Hot Mod of my Egnater Rebel 20. I was totally captured exploring new possibilities of the amplifier for the last couple of evenings. Since I strum the first chord on my Les Paul 1971, I knew I am in a sweet spot of the finest guitar sound. The sustain and responsiveness out of my Rebel 20 were simply delicious! You brought a mass produced Chinese made amplifier to a really boutique level. After your Mod the amplifier is very quiet and soulful. In reality the amp sounded the same (or even better) than I saw on your Youtube demo video. Any knob settings are very usable and give a lot of classic sounds available from Jimmy Hendrix to ZZ top and beyond.
I am glad now having both of the best words – innovative design from Bruce Egnater and High-End sound from Benjamin Fargen. I have found your mod very cost effective compare to already planned purchasing of original Komet amplifier (3500$ and up) used lately by Mark Knopfler as well. Thanks to you my journey for the Holly Grail has ended. Your amp is a keeper!
I played through your amplifier my Fender Strat 1989, Tele 1983, Gibson LP Custom 1971, Jackson Performer 1990, swapped preamp tubes between long black plated RCAs, JJ, EH, Sovteck, Mullard RI and I can tell you that I never seen this chassis being so responsive to changing pre-amp tubes or guitar pick-ups. Any additions of any pedals (even high-end ones) or effect processors do not make it sound any better. For me, the amp is perfect as is and everything else is going out of my basement.
Thank you again for your work and customer service. You are very approachable person and it was a great pleasure to deal with you.
I wish you all the luck in your business and all the best in your personal life.
Sincerely,
Alex S.,
