The Bordeaux was designed as the top of the line Fargan amp. The amp really is two amps in one. Channel one is a Blackbird which was designed to capture all the classic sound of the early 60’s Blackface Deluxe Reverb without the brittle high end and flabby lows that can ruin an otherwise wonderful sound. Think of “The Blackbird” as the best sounding Deluxe Reverb you have never heard! The Blackbird will help you capture the magic you have been looking for and will never find in your old blackface amp. Channel 2 is modded VOS which gives you a nice smooth overdrive with lots of singing sustain. Great for classic rock to modern country or blues. Over all a match made in heaven with the best clean channel and a great drive channel to match.

The Bordeaux is a true hand wired channel switching amp that offers tight and focused clean punch and with a touch of the footswitch sends you into sweet overdrive heaven! Ch 1 mirrors our Blackbird circuitry (our ultimate 60’s Blackface tone) and Ch 2 mirrors our new VOS / SCO overdrive tones. (smooth endless sustain). Independent EQ sections over both clean and overdrive channels makes it easy to dial in your tone. Top that off with an all tube reverb circuit, E.S.C. circuitry switches(early stage contour),heavy duty footswitch and you have ultimate tone and flexibility at your fingertips. The “Bordeaux” offers you the convenience of channel switching and a tour de force of tone and quality that can’t be matched!
