Fargen Exclusives: Ampeg B-15 Amp Clone
Here is my version of the fantastic sounding Ampeg B-15 flip top. We built this for a long time customer of ours who is beyond stoked with it. This amp turned out so sweet I am sure we will be building more in the future.
Specs:
- Real authentic vintage ampeg tolex and grill cloth
- 2 x 6L6-GC Cathode biased45 watt power section
- 5AR4 rectified, 2 x6SL7 preamp tubes
- 1 x 15 ext cab

If this amp sounds half as beautiful as it looks man, it’s a no brainer. Here I go with another if however, it is a very serious if…If your intent is to record the electric bass, then this amp should be given very serious consideration as your go to amplifier for electric bass. Again, I haven’t heard this clone but, if (there it is again) as much detail goes into the circuit as was put into it’s appearance, this baby has to cook! You’ll sell more than a few of these, it looks like it sounds good lmao
