1948 Fender Tweed Deluxe Guitar Amp (TV Front 1948-1953)
This raw little number is a blues man’s dream – mothing but nasty, greasy tweed tones hopping out of this 12″ speaker. The super fat sounding octal preamp tubes (6SN7) + (6SC7) in this Fender Tweed Deluxe amp add to its very fat and wide sound. This is by far my favorite tweed deluxe. It may be a one trick pony, but it has that sort of special pure tone character that makes you want to grab your Telecaster and play all night long.
