The vintage 1960′s Blackface Fender Bassman amp is one of those diamonds in the rough. It really needs some TLC and mods to make it come alive, but once you do, this amp can turn up the heat in any roadhouse bar – and serve up some Texas blues with a little Jimi on the side! Not to mention the fact that the 2 x 12″ piggyback setup just looks damn cool! I have had several of these Fender Bassman amps on my bench over the years, and when tweaked to have more of an English flair, they can sound better than best Marshall Amplifier you have ever heard!
