Fargen Super Collider Guitar Amplifier
The Fargen Super Collider is an all new dual channel design that fuses the richest clean tones and the fattest sustaining lead tones possible from a dual channel 6L6 tube amplifier. This new innovative design encompasses the very best of my previous custom shop offerings while raising the bar to deliver a no excuses world class tone that to be experienced to believe.
The Super Collider design concept was developed after I built the infamous one of a kind "SCO" amplifier for Mr. Cliff Culteri, a legend in the record industry, a world class engineer, and an outstanding guitarist. I was commissioned by Cliff in late 2005 to build the ultimate 2 x 6L6 lead amplifier. After a few small revisions to the first design attempt the SCO was born and Cliff has been singing its praises to professional players ever since. The Super COllider concept was sparked by Cliff after we discussed the need for a dual channel version of the SCO that delivered a clean channel that was as spectacular as the SCO overdrive circuit. And now, without further ado, the Super Collider has arrived.
About the Benjamin Fargen Exclusive Amplifiers:
- Each amplifier is hand built, one at a time by Benjamin Fargen in his personal workshop.
- Each amplifier and accompanying speaker(s) will be burned in for no less than 100 hours before delivery.
- Each and every component is measured for accuracy before installation.
- Each connection will be cleaned thoroughly before a solder connection is made.
- Each amp will be fitted and tested with the best vacuum tubes available whether they are NOS or premium new stock.
