1962 Brownface Fender Concert Guitar Amp
The 1962 brown face Fender Super amp is one of the transitional Fender models for that paved the way for the blackface series of amps that would soon follow. This rare G64 model features a GZ34 tube rectifier and 2 x 6L6-GC power amp sections. This 2 x 10″ amp would be perfect for the club scene, as it floats somewhere between clean and chunky mean when cranked up. The pulsing phase modulating tremolo circuit is cool, but not quite as cool as power tube grid modulated bias style used on some of the other tweed and brown fender amps.
