1963 Brownface Fender Concert Guitar Amp
The 1963 Fender brown face Concert amp is a rare bird as not many of these amps were made. It appears that the 1963 Fender brown face Concert amp is the predecessor to the Fender blackface super reverb. With it’s 4 x 10″ loaded combo design and solid state rectified 2 x 5881 power amp section, this amp was poised to offer stage players of the day the volume and punch needed to compete with a loud band. Again, more headroom than a Fender 5F6-A Tweed Bassman but not near the guts and volume of a AB763 Fender Blackface Super reverb.
