1966 Blackface Fender Pro Reverb Guitar Amp
Nestled right in between the Fender Deluxe Reverb and the Fender Super Reverb, the 1960’s Fender Pro Reverb amp offers a nice solution when the Deluxe is not loud enough and the Super Reverb is way too loud (always is for me!). It’s smaller output transformer and 2 x 12″ combo format make this vintage Fender blackface amp sing earlier on the volume dial and offers a very versatile tonescape. This kind of flexibility makes the Pro Reverb just the right amp for country, rock or roots music. The Fender Pro Reverb configuration is perfect for stage or studio work. I have seen on many of these across my bench. I think they are really cool and I always wondered why it wasn’t more popular among Fender Blackface fans.
